Hey Coppernauts 👋

Big news for Forms power users! Now, form submissions can create Pipeline Records directly in Copper, making client intake, quoting, project requests, and onboarding faster, smoother, and more reliable than ever.

This isn’t just a minor upgrade. It’s the next step in our Forms evolution. Every response now becomes a structured, actionable record in Copper, so teams can move from intake to action without missing a beat. 🪄

Forms that create Pipeline Records

Capture the information you need, right from the start, and turn submissions into actionable records in your CRM. Here’s what’s new:

Add Pipeline Fields to your form

  • Select a pipeline from the Build step chooser (defaults to the first pipeline set in Admin)

  • Include Description fields and any custom fields (except Connect fields)

  • Changing the pipeline after adding fields? Copper will confirm and reset previous field selections and workflow actions

Workflow Action: Create Pipeline Record

  • Automatically generate opportunities from submissions

  • Simplified setup: choose naming, source, and owner while Copper auto-fills the rest

Form List visibility

  • Quickly see what each form relates to: People, Companies, and/or the destination pipeline

How to use it

1. Client intake & onboarding: Form submissions capture client info, project scope, budget, and deadlines. These responses automatically create Pipeline Records in the first stage of the project pipeline, signaling the team they have everything they need to start.

Outcome: Faster onboarding, no lost details.

2. Project requests: Clients or internal teams submit project requests via Forms, which generate structured Pipeline Records in a dedicated project pipeline.
Outcome: Requests are organized, visible, and actionable.

3. Post-project Feedback / Nurture: Feedback Forms create follow-up records automatically, keeping client insights captured and feeding future business opportunities.
Outcome: Maintain relationships, capture insights, and drive repeat business.

4. Recruitment & Internal Workflows: Application or vendor forms create Pipeline Records to track candidates or internal requests through defined stages.
Outcome: Structured and centralized workflow management for internal operations.

Why you’ll love it

  • Collect the right data, right from the start: Required questions and field descriptions reduce back-and-forth and confusion.

  • Forms that speak CRM fluently: Submissions create fully integrated Pipeline Records, no need for manual entry.

  • Submissions become actionable records instantly: Project requests, and post-project feedback all flow directly into Copper, giving teams clarity and control.

  • Faster setup and intake: The native Form Builder UI makes creating and sharing forms simple, whether on a webpage, via link, or in emails.

Ready to capture all incoming opportunities in one go? Add Pipeline fields to your Forms today and watch submissions turn into actionable records instantly.

Here’s to submissions that don’t ghost you,
