Understand the MailChimp integration

Our integration with MailChimp lets you export Copper contacts to a MailChimp audience. An audience in MailChimp is a group of contacts you can email in bulk.
We do have a native bulk send feature in Copper, but our MailChimp integration takes this capability further in the following ways:

Define your workflow

To decide if MailChimp is right for you, answer the following questions:
  1. Do you want to send marketing email campaigns or sales email campaigns? MailChimp is great for marketing campaigns. If you instead want to do a sales nurture campaign, check out our PersistIQ integration.
  2. How much of your time or your team's time is spent sending bulk emails? If you spend a significant amount of time on this, it might be great to use MailChimp's automations
  3. Do you need to share files beyond Google Drive links with your contacts? MailChimp's file sharing option will help you out.
  4. Do you want to report on the success of your email campaigns, including clicks, opens, subscribers' social activity, e-commerce data, and more? MailChimp's reporting tools can highlight these trends.
  5. Do you need to give your users the option to unsubscribe? MailChimp emails have this option; bulk send emails from Copper do not.
