How emails and logged activities sync between records

People, Company and Opportunity records are often related to one another. As the result of this relationship, the emails and activities logged on one of these records are sometimes shared to another related record. Let's take a look at a few of these relationships.

When you sync an email or log an activity on a person record, your emails and activities are synced to the related opportunity and company records:


When you log an activity on an opportunity record, it will be synced to a related company record but not to a related person record:


When you log an activity on a company, lead, project or task record, it does not sync to any related records:


As a reminder, emails between Copper users will not sync into your Copper account.
