Contact E-Mail Addresses not showing up after Successful Import

When I do a bulk Import of contacts - in which E-Mails are included next to each contact and this is reflected in the Copper importing process - the e-mail address for each contact is not showing up in any of the Copper Contact fields. Why is this the case? I tried re-importing the contacts and moved it from the "E-Mail" column to "Work E-Mail", but this still doesn't seem to work.
