If you have a paid Google Workspace with Gemini enabled, you can automatically capture and store Gemini meeting notes into Copper.

In the article we will cover how to automatically attach your Gemini Notes Document to contacts that attended the meeting.

1. Ensure the Attendees Are in Your Copper Account

Before the meeting, confirm that all participants (attendees) are already saved as contacts in Copper.

If an attendee isn’t in Copper, create a new contact record so their meeting notes can sync correctly.

💡 Tip: With the Chrome Extension enabled, in Google Calendar simply hover over each attendee to check if they are already added to your Copper, if they are not in Copper you will be prompted to add them.

2. Set Gemini to Send Notes to All Invited Guests

In Gemini settings, make sure the Send notes to: option is set to All invited guests.
This ensures everyone—yourself included—receives the meeting notes once the session ends.

3. Start Taking Notes

During the meeting, select Start taking notes in Gemini to begin capturing notes from the discussion.

4. Receive the Post-Meeting Document

After the meeting, Gemini will create a document containing all captured notes.
This document will automatically be attached to the meeting invite and an update email including the Gemini note document will be emailed to all attendees.

⚠️ When the Meeting Update email (with the Meeting Notes attached) is sent to all recipients, the attachment will automatically log to each participant’s Files section in Copper.

Please note that it may take a few hours for both the email delivery and the file attachment to complete.

5. Automatic Sync to Copper

Copper will automatically pull the Gemini notes attachment from the meeting invite and link it to:

  • The contact(s) who attended

  • Any related opportunities or companies.

6. Find Your Meeting Notes in Copper

To view your synced notes:

  1. Open the relevant contact, company, or opportunity in Copper.

  2. Navigate to the Related section.

  3. Look for the meeting notes attachment under "Files" or in the activity feed.

Tip: Keeping your contact list up to date in Copper ensures that future Gemini meeting notes always sync to the right people and records.
