Copper now lets you customize parts of the app to better match your brand. With branding and appearance settings, you can adjust the colors used in Copper’s navigation so your workspace feels familiar, polished, and unmistakably yours.

Who can use branding and appearance settings?

Branding and appearance settings are available to account owners and admins.
These controls apply across the account, so everyone on your team sees the same branded experience.

What can I customize?

Right now, you can customize:

  • Primary navigation color

  • Secondary navigation color

As you adjust colors, you’ll see a live preview so you can fine-tune the look before saving. To keep things readable and accessible, Copper automatically handles text colors for you.

How to update your branding

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Select Customization -> Branding & appearance

  3. Choose your primary and secondary colors

  4. Preview your changes in real time

  5. Save when you’re happy with how it looks

That’s it — no refresh required.

Why doesn’t Copper allow full white labeling?

We designed branding and appearance settings to give you meaningful personalization without the complexity (or chaos) that can come with full white labeling.

Unlimited customization often leads to:

  • Hard-to-read interfaces

  • Accessibility issues

  • Inconsistent experiences across teams

By focusing on navigation colors and smart defaults, you get a workspace that feels on-brand and still looks great.

💡 Tips for choosing colors

  • Stick close to your brand’s primary and secondary colors

  • Avoid extremely light or neon shades

  • Use the live preview to check contrast and readability

If it looks good in preview, it’ll look good for your team.

Add your logo and auto-generate brand colors

You can now upload your company logo to appear in the top left of Copper and use it to quickly set up your brand colors.

When you add a logo, Copper automatically detects the primary and secondary colors from the image and pre-fills the color pickers for you so you can get branded faster, with less guesswork.

Who can do this

  • Account owners

Where to find it

  • Settings → Customization → Branding & appearance

How it works

  1. Go to Settings → Customization → Branding & appearance

  2. Under Logo, upload your company logo

  3. Once uploaded, Copper will automatically extract the primary and secondary colors from your logo

  4. Review the suggested colors in the color pickers

  5. Use the preview to make any adjustments you’d like

  6. Save your changes to apply your branding across Copper

Your logo will appear in the top left of the app, and your selected colors will be applied to navigation and other branded elements.

💡 Tips for best results

  • Use a high-quality logo with clear, distinct colors

  • Logos with strong contrast tend to produce more accurate color suggestions

  • You can always manually adjust the colors if the auto-detected ones aren’t quite right
