Available with the following plans, except where noted:

Professional, Business

You can pause an email automation at any time from multiple places:

  • From the list of automations

  • From the details panel, which is also accessible from your Pipelines

Pause sending

When you pause an automation, emails will stop sending immediately.

A paused automation:

  • Will not send any emails until it is set live again

  • Will not continue to update the To Send tab

  • Will continue to update the Opened, Clicked, Replied, and Errors tabs for emails that were sent before the automation was paused

When you set a paused automation live, the automation will:

  • Check to see if any new contacts have matched or unmatched the criteria

  • Resume sending emails within minutes

    • Business plan only: This includes contacts who were in the middle of a multi-step automation
