This month’s release is packed with upgrades to help you move faster and stay organized, on web and mobile. We’ve launched a big Forms refresh, rolled out Subtasks to everyone, added smarter ways to manage tasks, and expanded our modern task experience across the app. Plus, the first LinkedIn integration in our Chrome Extension is live, and mobile gets some quality-of-life improvements. Let’s get into it. 💥

  • Forms just got a glow-up: This release lays the groundwork for even more powerful form automation down the line—and comes with a handful of small-but-mighty improvements.

    • A new full-screen form builder makes it easier to get started and customize your forms.

    • Each form now has its own activity type, so you can track responses directly in Feed.

    • Copper now auto-generates a saved filter for each form—and keeps it synced as fields change.

    • Automatically tag respondents when they submit a form (all plans).

    • Automatically create a task from a form submission (Basic, Professional, and Business plans).

    • Share your form via a link—yep, it’s that easy!

      • You can now use Forms for all kinds of use cases—think newsletter sign-ups, social media, in emails, or anywhere you can share a URL. Wherever you need them!

  • Subtasks are now live for everyone: Task power users, rejoice—Subtasks V1 has officially rolled out to 100% of customers!

    • Subtasks live under a parent task, can be assigned owners, and work just like standard tasks.

    • Create and edit subtasks from the Related Panel or Task Column in List View.

  • Project management additions: We’ve rolled out even more improvements to help you manage work more easily, wherever you are in Copper.

    • Create and update tasks in-line from the Task List View—tasks will auto-inherit the right grouping (e.g. project, owner).

    • Task popovers now support drag-and-drop reordering in Related Panels, List Views, and more.

    • Related Tasks UI on pipeline cards has been upgraded to match the new Task popover experience.

    • Tasks > Subtasks can now be created in detail views, cards, and task lists.

    • Group tasks by related entity, due date, owner, and more in List View for a layout that fits your workflow.

    • A new Task Column in List View makes it easy to spot and act on related tasks at a glance.

  • Related Tasks, refreshed: We’ve extended the modern Task component beyond Pipelines—now available on People, Companies, and Leads.

    • This update replaces the older experience, streamlining task creation and delivering a consistent, unified interface across more places in Copper.

  • Pipeline records can now relate to other pipeline records: You can now link opportunities to projects (and other pipeline records) to better track related work from end to end.

  • Chrome Extension – LinkedIn integration begins: Our first LinkedIn integration feature, Profile Matching, is now live!

    • When you view a LinkedIn profile that matches a contact or company in Copper, the extension will automatically surface their Copper record.

    • This feature is now live in the Chrome Extension and approved by the Chrome Web Store.

  • iOS updates: Just a few small improvements to keep things running smoothly on mobile.

    • Feed “All” tab now respects team visibility settings.

    • You can now edit subtasks directly in the app.

    • Fixed an issue where changing task priority would unlink it from its related record.

  • Android updates: A few handy enhancements and bug fixes landed this month.

    • Scanned business cards are now saved in their own photo album.

    • Bolded search terms in results make it easier to find what you’re looking for.

    • You can now edit profile pictures for People and Companies.

    • Pipeline records can now be related directly from the mobile app.

    • Fixed an issue preventing comment submission on activity threads.

    • Fixed a bug where some synced emails couldn’t be opened on mobile.

  • 🐞 Plus we squashed some pesky bugs:

    • Fixed an issue where fields added during Lead > Opportunity conversion weren’t transferring properly.

    • Fixed a bug in the Chrome Extension where the “Open in web app” shortcut didn’t link correctly.

    • Fixed a record count discrepancy when collapsing grouped tasks.

    • Corrected an icon display issue in the Gmail widget’s related record selector.

    • Emails in search now render correctly.

    • Long email addresses no longer cause the composer window to scroll horizontally.

    • Cleaned up styling on AI Rewriter buttons in error state.

That’s a wrap for June! We’ve got even bigger updates in progress, so stay tuned for more enhancements next month. 👋
