The Copper Android app now integrates with Google Voice, allowing users to seamlessly make outbound calls through their Google Voice account. No setup needed—just a few taps to start making calls with Google Voice.

Access

This integration is available for all existing Copper customers using the Android app with Google Voice installed on their device. Google Voice integrations are currently not possible with any iOS apps.

How it works

  1. First-time call prompt

    • When you attempt to make a call for the first time in the Copper Android app, a list of all installed calling apps will appear.

    • If Google Voice is installed on your device, it will be displayed as an option.

    • Select Google Voice to make your call.

  2. Setting Google Voice as the default calling app

    • Once you select Google Voice for an outbound call, all future calls will automatically use it unless changed.

    • If you want to update your preference, navigate to Settings in the Copper app and choose your preferred calling method.

How to enable Google Voice for outbound calls

  1. Open the Copper Android app.

  2. Tap on Settings.

  3. Locate the Outbound Calls option.

  4. Select Google Voice as your default calling app.

  5. You're all set! All outbound calls will now be placed via Google Voice.
