🎃 Get ready for a spook-tacular October at Copper! 🎃
We’re brewing up some wickedly fun surprises to make your CRM experience a scream—in the best way, of course. 😈
Each week this month, we’re dropping bite-sized, fang-tastic enhancements based on your awesome feedback. These tricks are all about making your Copper experience a real treat!
We’re casting a spell on your workflow with:
🕸 Embedded forms: Like magic, place your Copper form directly onto your website—no coding spells required! 🕷
First up:
Last week, we introduced embedded forms! Now you can embed your form straight onto your website. Check out our installation guide.
👻 User-level permissions for Email Automations: Control who can brew up your automated outreach and keep the power in the right hands. 🧙♂️
Now you can grant certain users permission to manage email automations. Admins and Account Owners can access this new permission when editing a user. But don’t worry; you won’t be able to accidentally uncheck the permissions of other admins.
Looking for some ideas? We’ve got you covered with 8 great ways you can use email automations to boost efficiency and engagement.
See into the future 🔮 with scheduled emails in Feed: Now, when you schedule an email in Gmail, you’ll clearly see that it’s a scheduled email in the Upcoming section on Feed.
⚡ New Board and List View polish: Trick or treat! 🎃 We’ve been working on some spooky-good updates for Board and List Views.
Pipeline Close modals now indicate the current contact type of the related Primary Contact and Company
Enjoy in-line editing of Close Date and Owner field on Board Cards
Heightened tooltip support on Board Card Date Field and Saved Filter names
We’ve added the ability to completely Clear All Filter criteria
Description field is now available as list column and card field
Full Record View shortcut is now available on related record columns in List View
Pipelines can now be duplicated from the Template Gallery
👀 Teaser alert: Would be awesome if future meetings and tasks were in the Upcoming section as well…
🛠 Easily edit Custom Fields: No need to conjure up a workaround anymore! Now you can update custom fields in a flash—right from the list view! 🎃
We’ve added the ability to edit your Custom Fields right from the list view. To do so, click the column of the Custom Field you wish to edit, and select “Edit Field” from the drop-down.
Edit away! 🪄
✨ Saved Feed filters: Sort through the chaos with a quick wave of your wand—err, filter. Find what you need faster than a bat out of a haunted cave. 🦇
🪄 Copper Magic: No tricks here—just some serious magic! Get ready for a bewitching feature that’ll make your CRM do the work for you, like it’s reading your mind. 🔮
This release includes three options that align with common use cases:
Webform response. You can use this email template to automatically follow up with potential customers who fill out the "Contact Us" form on your website.
Rekindle outreach. You can use this email template to automatically reach out to customers you haven't talked to in a while, ensuring you’re keeping those crucial relationships warm.
Request reviews. You can use this email template to follow up with customers after a project concludes to solicit feedback and request reviews.
How it works:
Choose the kind of email template you want to create
Copper isolates your email domain to identify your website
Copper passes a prompt to OpenAI that includes:
Direction to use the tone, voice, and content of your website to personalize the response
Merge fields that should be used in the response
You receive a drafted email template that is tailored to your business and personalized with merge fields (including backup text!)
Users with a freemail account (i.e., @gmail.com) will receive a best-practices-based response for each use case that is personalized with merge fields.
Why we think you’ll like it:
No more blank page-itis. Let Copper draft your email templates, and they’ll be automatically tailored to your business and enriched with merge fields for instant personalization 🪄
Simple, easy to use, and magical. With other apps, you have to engineer your own prompts if you want the results you get with the push of Copper’s button. For example, domain isolation, merge field inclusion, and specifications for tone, voice, and content. Sheesh, you might as well write the email yourself 🤦♀️
No obvious AI markers. You want AI to help them write emails, but you don’t want recipients to know that AI wrote it. Copper prompts include specifications to keep the responses humanistic without the obvious AI markers – like “I hope this email finds you well” 🤖
🛟 We have a new Help Center article on the feature here: https://support.copper.com/en/articles/10057873-beta-ai-email-template-creation
👉 The feature is being rolled out to Professional and Business customers over the next few weeks. When your company has access, you’ll see a beacon on the Settings menu letting you know it’s available!
Bewitched regards,
Amie at Copper
