💡 Good to know
The Compliance Archive operates independently from Copper CRM. There is no integration to Copper CRM, and access to Copper CRM is not required to access the Compliance Archive. A Compliance Officer can be a user in the Compliance Archive without being a user in the CRM.
You must be on an Enterprise plan of Google Workspace. This is required to configure Compliance Archive as a consumer of your Gmail accounts.
You must have a Microsoft 365 or Exchange Online subscription. Journaling all messages is available on all Exchange Online plans. Journaling scoped to specific users or distribution groups requires Exchange Online Plan 2 (included in Office 365 / Microsoft 365 E3 and E5).
The 6-year retention period begins from the point the email account is connected. To maintain compliance and archive integrity, there is no historical back-fetching of emails or ability to import emails. Support for migrating and importing historical emails from another secure archive may be considered in future releases.
