To get the best experience with Copper, make sure you’re using a supported browser or mobile operating system. Using supported platforms helps ensure you receive the latest features, performance improvements, and security updates.

Web app support

Google Chrome is the only officially supported browser for Copper.

Copper may still function on other browsers such as Safari, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge, but these browsers are not officially tested or supported.

iOS mobile app support

We support iOS 15 and above.

Devices running iOS 14 or earlier may continue to run the Copper app for a limited time, but they will no longer receive new app updates.

This applies to the current Copper mobile app and will also apply to our standalone SMS mobile app when it is released.

How to update iOS

  1. Connect your device to power and Wi-Fi.

  2. Open Settings.

  3. Tap General.

  4. Tap Software Update.

  5. Tap Download and Install.

If prompted, enter your passcode.

If you're unsure which version of iOS you're using:

  3. Tap About

  4. Look for Software Version

Android mobile app support

We support Android 7.1 Nougat and above.

Devices running versions earlier than Android 7.1 may continue to run the app temporarily, but they will no longer receive new updates.

This applies to the current Copper mobile app and will also apply to our standalone SMS mobile app when it is released.

  1. Open Settings

  2. Tap About phone or About device
