Hey Coppernauts 👋
Copper’s had a little menu makeover.
We’ve launched Custom Navigation, which means you can now tweak your left-hand menu to better match how your team actually works. The tools you use every day? Easier to get to. The views you check constantly? Right where you want them. The stuff you barely touch? Out of the way, but still easy to find.
Basically: less bouncing around, more getting things done. A beautiful thing. ✨
Let’s get into it.
🧭 Custom Navigation: finally, a workspace that gets you
No two teams use Copper the same way. Some live in pipelines. Some practically have a permanent tab open in tasks. Some are loyal to a filtered view they’d protect with their life. Now, Copper can reflect that.
Custom Navigation gives Admins more control over how your workspace is organized, so the things your team uses most are easier to reach and grouped in a way that actually makes sense for how you work.
Because your CRM should fit into your process, not the other way around.
✏️ Give your left nav a little glow-up
Admins can now click Edit Navigation and reorganize the left-hand menu to better suit their team.
Move items around. Tuck less-used tools out of sight. Bring your everyday essentials closer to home.
It’s like finally rearranging your kitchen so the mugs aren’t in the weird cupboard anymore. Instantly better.
🗂️ Build sections that match your workflow
You can now create custom navigation groups and name them whatever makes sense for your team.
Think:
Sales
Renewals
Onboarding
Client requests
Add related tools, views, and workflows into one tidy section so everything you need for a given process lives together.
🔎 Save yourself a few clicks (you’ve earned it)
There’s also a new type of navigation item: Views.
This lets you pin filtered lists directly in your navigation, so you can jump straight to the stuff you care about most. For example:
deals closing this month
leads waiting on follow-up
overdue tasks
new requests
🔌 Keep your tools where they belong
If your team uses integrations or embedded apps in Copper, you can now place them where they make the most sense. That means fewer tab hops, less mental gymnastics, and a better flow between the tools you already rely on.
Because nothing kills momentum like “wait… where was that again?”
➕ Everything’s still there (don’t panic)
If you remove something from your main navigation, it’s not gone forever.
There’s now a new More option that lets users quickly see everything else available in Copper. So yes, you can clean things up without triggering anyone’s fear of missing menu items.
We thought of the anxious clickers. 🫶
🚀 A workspace that feels more like yours
Custom Navigation gives you more control over how Copper is set up, so your team can spend less time clicking around and more time moving work forward.
Whether you want a cleaner setup, faster access to your go-to tools, or just a workspace that feels a little more you, this update makes it easier to make Copper your own.
How to get started:
